Spice Mill Grinder - Product Maintenance & Warranty
PROLONG THE LIFE OF YOUR WOOD MILL GRINDER WITH PROPER CARE & MAINTENANCE
Spice Mill Grinder Product Care Warranty
WHAT CAN I PUT INSIDE MY GRINDER?
Your Mill Grinder has a ceramic mechanism and therefore can grind salt, pepper, or other spices such as coriander and cardamom seeds (as long as the spice is free from moisture). Avoid using grey sea salt, which contains a high amount of moisture.
HOW TO FILL THE MILL GRINDER?
This is best done when your Mill Grinder is sitting on a firm level surface. With one hand, firmly grip the body of the Mill Grinder and apply downward pressure to keep it stable on the table. With your other hand, grip the top of the Mill Grinder and pull straight up to remove the lid. It may take a good tug, as the lids are pressure-fit. Pour salt, pepper or dry spices in the reservoir, allowing enough empty space for the lid to close. To replace the lid, ensure the metal rod is properly aligned in the bottom of the lid before firmly pushing it back down on the body.
HOW TO SET THE COARSENESS ADJUSTMENTS SETTINGS?
The coarseness adjuster is the gray knob that sits on the bottom of the Mill Grinder. There are 14 coarseness settings, for a finer grind turn the knob clockwise and for a coarser grind, turn counter clockwise.
HOW TO MAINTENANCE / CLEANING?
Keep the Mill Grinder out of water and avoid high amounts of heat or steam. Clean the exterior by using damp towel or paper towel. If the Mill Grinder ever gets clogged due to moisture from salt, pepper or dry spices in the reservoir, the coarseness adjustment knob can be turned counter clockwise until it comes off, it can now be cleaned with a small brush. Note: When dissembling the Mill Grinder be extra cautious not to lose the spring inside.
The Mill Grinder has been finished with a blend of FOOD SAFE oils and hard waxes. If your Mill Grinder ever appears dull, simply polish with a clean dry towel and the shine will come back to life.
